Kington's cozy charm! 🍻
Had the most lekker brekkie – proper full English that set us up for the day! The locals were so chill, we skinner over drinks like old mates, and Sue, the landlady, is just amazing. She even sorted out my dodgy fan heater without a fuss!
Only thing was the basic tea and coffee supplies – could've done with some biscuits, but that's just being picky.

Old quirky building, free pool table, nice large bath towels
The absence of double glazing leads to excessive noise from passing traffic at all hours!!! The shower has poor water flow and is inefficient at draining!!! More detailed attention could be given to cleanliness and tidiness throughout!!!

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning, with fresh ingredients that really hit the spot! The warm welcome we received from the staff made our stay special, especially traveling with our two little ones, as they ensured we were comfortable and well-catered for.
My wife says that a bit more attention to the room's maintenance would improve the stay.

The room was quaint yet dated, featuring a poorly designed bathroom that restricted usability, and a bed that was uncomfortably sloped. Despite the annoying traffic noise from the single-glazed window, the breakfast offered a delightful spread of fresh unlimited pancakes, leaving a positive impression. The staff were generally accommodating, but the overall infrastructure needs improvement to justify the cost.

great access to local attractions and friendly atmosphere
My stay was fantastic, enjoying a short walk of less than a 5-minute stroll to both the Kington Museum and the Regency Cafe, making my mornings delightful with great food and local history. the pet-friendly vibe made it even better, allowing me to explore the charming streets with my dog by my side.

Had a fun stay with friends! The food was solid, especially the dinners and breakfasts. Sue, the landlady, made everything feel welcoming. Enjoyed playing pool too! Perfect for our group after exploring the local hiking trails. Will definitely come back!
The shower was a bit cramped, which was a struggle after a long day of walking.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed. The traditional pub atmosphere adds to the charm, and the location is conveniently close to the town center, allowing easy access to local attractions.
As a light sleeper, the excessive noise from traffic at all hours made it challenging to get a good night’s rest.

Great stay with friends! We enjoyed a lovely meal at the pub and explored the local Kington Museum. The breakfast was hearty, perfect after a day of walking the trails. The landlady was friendly and made us feel at home. Definitely recommend for a relaxed getaway.
The shower pressure was a bit disappointing, just enough to make it a hassle after a long day.
